Jaguar as a mantra

VIRTUAL SHOW

While the world reminds us that we are not essential, Magdalena Casá decides to turn her gaze to the Jaguar, one of the many endangered species that inhabit our geography, and assuming that it is essential, not coincidentally on discarded cartons, she recovers it. But she does not only recover the Jaguar, in her cartons she recovers something else: an activity as noble and perhaps as threatened as the feline, which, converted into a kind of mantra written on the cardboard, repeats the nobility of drawing, of color, and of the harmony with which they are able to coexist, as if precisely that nobility were forgotten. I welcome these cardboards full of good drawing and color, which redeem both the Jaguar and the visual language.
